As a licensed professional counselor, certified complex trauma & dissociation specialist, and HeartMath certified practitioner, I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or lost in the complexities of life. My approach to therapy is rooted in existential inquiry and humanistic values, and builds upon the values of mutual respect & accountability, honesty, humor and authenticity.
You are the one who knows you best which is why you are an active participant throughout the therapeutic journey, collaborating with me to create the ideal therapy experience that is specific to your needs. This doesn't mean I will be the type of therapist that provides blind affirmation and validation. I will challenge you, call you out when necessary, and hold you accountable. I also welcome the same from you- challenging me, being vocal when you are in disagreement with me, & calling me out whenever I've missed the mark.
